Mac's Heart
Instructor John McIntosh, being an avid hunter, brings into class
the heart of his latest conquest. The heart of a deer is
similar in size and structure to the human heart. During
cardiology and cardiac emergency lectures, he dissects a deer
heart and using push pins labels the structures.
The students can then see, up close and personal, what the
ventricles, atrium, valves and coronary arteries of a heart look
and feel like.
