Ron Spears, EMT-P, IC
Academy Program Director
Ron is a career firefighter with the Waterford Fire Department and
currently holds the rank of Battalion Chief. He has
been with the Department for 24 years, has been a Paramedic for 22
years, has been in the EMS field for over 32 years, and has been
the Department's EMS Coordinator for the past 20 years. He
holds certifications in American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS), is an ACLS instructor, a CPR instructor, a
CPR instructor trainer, and is a licensed EMS
Instructor/Coordinator through the State of Michigan.

Jeff Finkbeiner, EMT-P, IC
Basic EMT Course Coordinator/Instructor
Jeff is a career firefighter with the Waterford Fire Department
and currently holds the rank of Captain/Paramedic. He
has been with the Department for 20 years, has been a Paramedic
for 18 years, and has been in the EMS field for over 20
years. He holds certifications in American Heart
Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), is a CPR
instructor, a course coordinator for the PEPP (Pediatric
Education for Pre-hospital Professionals) program, and is a
licensed EMS Instructor/Coordinator through the State of
Michigan. |

Instructor
Ron is a career firefighter with the Waterford Fire Department
and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant/Paramedic. He has
been with the Department for 21 years, has been a Paramedic for
20 years, and has been in the EMS field for 21 years. He
holds certifications in American Heart Association Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), is an American Heart Association and
American Red Cross CPR instructor, an American Red Cross Basic
and Advanced First Aid instructor, is a licensed EMS
Instructor/Coordinator and an EMS Examiner through the
State of Michigan.

Instructor
Steve is a career firefighter with the Waterford Fire Department
and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant/Paramedic. He has
been with the Department for 19 years, has been a Paramedic for
20 years, and has been in the EMS field for 21 years. He
holds a certification in American Heart Association Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and is a licensed EMS
Instructor/Coordinator through the State of Michigan.

Paramedic Course Coordinator/Instructor
Jim is a career firefighter with the Waterford Fire Department
and currently holds the rank of Engineer/Paramedic. He has
been with the Department for 8 years, has been a Paramedic for 9
years, and has been in the EMS field for 14 years. He holds
certifications in American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS),
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), and is a licensed EMS
Instructor/Coordinator through the State of Michigan.
